On the Move
For the Independents Biennial my aim was to investigate public spaces to see where it would be possible to house it overnight, set up my cart, and whether or not people would participate.

Permission Granted
The key to permission being granted in public squares, and keeping the cart over several nights in a council building, was that I wasn't a commercial enterprise, nor confrontational.

Draw, Exhibit and Exchange
The idea was for people to use the cart as a drawing space then hang their art in the gallery section. Then to exchange it for another picture hanging there. Only one person wouldn't leave his behind in exchange. It was interesting to note how few adults spend time drawing but enjoyed it. Conversations flowed freely as people occupied themselves drawing.
